First, some unfinished business from yesterday.
Hooray! I have been on holiday and now I have returned! Hooray again!
My local Sainsbury's have updated the range of products they sell. I was particularly excited to see that they have decided to rip off that Innocent smoothie drink company and make their own smoothies, selling them at a much cheaper price. I purchased a litre of Sainsbury's 'tangy apple and blackcurrant smoothie'. It says on the packaging that 200 ml of the drink provides one of the five recommended portions of fruit/vegetables per day. I decided to have all five portions and I drank the whole carton. It was great.
Also, since experiencing lots of hot weather recently I have decided that I really like salad. So I was especially pleased to see that Sainsbury's have started to sell salad in a tin. How marvellous. It wasn't as nice as the salads made fresh in front of me in New York, but it is still a good idea and I enjoyed eating it just now. The packaging on the tin informs me that I have just consumed 1% of the Guideline Daily Amount of saturated fat. So, to make sure I eat healthily, for dessert I am going to have some lard.
