| Bio: | Hello. My name is Al, and I'm a single male adult living in the historic city of Bath, England. A while ago, I decided that I wanted to improve my writing skills. I forget the reason behind that now, but starting up a daily blog seemed to be a good way of doing that. The idea was that I'd force myself to write about something -- anything -- here every day, which would in turn have the effect that I'd be able to write more fluently in future. Of course, things didn't really work as well as I'd liked, since after hundreds of entries here I still find it just as difficult to write things with any sort of ease, but for some reason I've stuck it out. I'm not claiming that anything I write is actually interesting, or even coherent, but I'm doing my best. Typically I'll write about the mundane stuff that makes up my existence on this planet, such as what unhealthy food I've shoved down my throat or which trivial TV programme I've wasted my time watching. I earn my money by teaching mathematics. I sometimes write about mathematical topics here too. But only sometimes. Oh, and I usually end each entry by recording what happened in that day's episode of Deal or No Deal, which I already know is an utterly pointless thing to write about. Feel free to friend or de-friend me as the mood takes you. If you do add me, I'm sure I'll add you back, although I can't promise that I'll read every one of your entries, and I won't assume that you'll read every one of mine.
